Top 5 Under $10 Beauty Products

I love my high end make-up products, but as a struggling college student I can't always afford the high end costs. Luckily, less costly products are available at local drugstores, and even at reputable beauty stores such as Ulta. When I can't afford to splurge, I have products under $10 that I turn to, and these are my favorites!

Rimmel Stay Matte foundation: This liquid mousse foundation is one of the best affordable products I've found, which is saying a lot as it only costs around $5 including tax! As you can tell by it's name, this is a matte foundation which offers medium to full coverage. It blends easily using a beauty blender, or buffer brush, and lasts throughout the day. Unfortunately I purchased this foundation prior to applying my self-tanner, therefore the shade I have (Light Porcelain) no longer matches my skin tone. I look forward to purchasing this foundation in the correct shade, and seeing how it holds up in the Florida heat and humidity.

Maybelline Eye Studio gel eyeliner: Before purchasing this product I had never used a gel liner. I bought it on a whim because my normal black eyeliner (Urban Decay 24/7) was too dark for an everyday look. I wasn't able to afford the $20 a new liner by Urban Decay would cost, so I purchased the Eye Studio liner instead in the color brown. I was impressed with how easily it applied, and how long it lasted (I even struggled to remove it in the shower). I would definitely recommend this brand for an every day look.

Sonia Kashuk Brow Gel: I've never used a brow gel before, but I've recently been liking the look of slightly filled in eyebrows. In order to accomplish this, I first like to set everything into place to give me some sort of outline. This brow gel is lightweight and doesn't make my brows feel weighed down. I can easily apply eyebrow liner on top of it, and achieve a nice, clean look!

Price: $5.99 Purchased from: Target

SNP Animal Face Masks: Have you ever wanted to transform into an adorable creature while taking care of your skin? Animal face masks by SNP allow you to do this! You can choose from a variety of animals that do different things for your face, such as a tiger anti wrinkle mask, a dragon soothing mask, and an otter aqua mask to name a few! So far I've only used the otter mask, but I loved the added element of fun the animal face print brought, and my face was left feeling hydrated and refreshed!

Price: $5.00 Purchased from: Ulta

Covergirl + Olay The De-Puffer Eye Concealer: Recently I've been noticing dark circles under my eyes that refuse to go away no matter how many hours of sleep I receive! I finally decided to purchase an under eye concealer, and chose to try the de-puffer concealer because it advertised reducing puffiness and concealing dark circles. I used it under my normal foundation, and think it does an excellent job of concealing those stubborn circles! I don't use it every day, so I can't attest to its effectiveness in reducing puffiness, but it serves its job as a concealer well.
